Full description: After a near month-long delay caused in part by Tropical Storm Debby, officials in North Carolina will be opening the Triangle Expressway near Raleigh this week. WTOL TV 11 in Toledo is reporting on details of a new police report that tells of driver confusion being a contributing factor in one of three fatal crashes on Ohio's Turnpike, during rush hour the morning of August 15. Meanwhile, Alabama State Senator Gerald Allen has proposed buying the Tuscaloosa By-Pass toll bridge from its current private owners in order to eliminate tolls on the bridge. The 20th of 27 service plazas being updated on New York's thruway is now completed and reopened, and Cape May County in New Jersey is eliminating cash tolling in 2025.
