In this video: Toll increases will impact interstate and international crossings April 1; the congestion toll zone remains active in New York, for now. And the next phase of the Key Bridge reconstruction is at hand. Danny Pryor reports for Turnpikes.com.
Full description: TL;DR: Tolls go up April 1 on a pair of US-Canada crossings, one in New York and another in Michigan. For one bridge, the change means a cashless conversion for Canada. The Manhattan Congestion Relief Zone will remain active for the time being, after an extension was granted to a termination deadline set for March 21. However, the U.S. Secretary of Transportation issued a warning to New York on social media. The next phase of pre-construction is set to begin for the Key Bridge rebuild in Maryland, and a bridge repaving will close E-ZPass lanes again this weekend on I-78's toll bridge between New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
