Full description: Truckers stand to lose the most if provinces in Canada move forward with plans to institute tolls on some highways for U.S. travelers; meanwhile, this is a week of toll increases on a number of bridges and a local toll road. The Kentucky legislature has voted to override Governor Andy Beshear’s veto of tolls on the new I-69 Ohio River Crossing, meaning there will be a cost to use the new connection. And an alarming report from Johns Hopkins University, on the heels of an NTSB report, warns of the potential for U.S. bridges to collapse due to a vessel strike, just like the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
