About this photo:
Cars emerge from the northbound toll lanes as other vehicles travel south into the toll plaza, just before going south across the Boulevard Bridge. Traffic is charged in both directions. When charges were only five cents, the bridge became known as "The Nickel Bridge". The name is still widely used by locals today.
