More About The PikePass

PikePass, In Brief

PikePass was the first state-wide electronic toll system introduced in the United States. Oklahoma's Turnpike Authority introduced PikePass on the Turner Turnpike in 1991, along with three other toll roads in Oklahoma.

Today, PikePass is used on the dozen toll roads that now exist in Oklahoma, and it is interoperable across the Central Plains, in Kansas, Texas. It is also now interoperable on Florida toll roads.

For business accounts, you will be required to provide a Vehicle Reference Code (VRC) for each vehicle assigned to your account.

A Vehicle Reference Code (VRC) is a universal identifier used between tolling agencies, to identify the weight and size classes of a specific vechile, along with the number of axles and tires. Business applications include a reference chart of applicable codes. A VRC is not required for personal accounts.

Business operators: It is important to use the largest common configuration of your vehicle when choosing a VRC. For instance, if you operate a five-axle tractor-trailer, but you sometimes only drive the cab, make certain to list the VRC for a five-axle vehicle, not a three-axle vehicle.

Use of logos or marks is for reference only. Neither affiliation nor endorsement is implied and should not be so construed.

All application downloads are supplied by their respective agencies and are provided for reference and convenience. Links to online applications is provided for your reference and to aid in account setup and management.
