A guide sign warning of the last exit before a toll, and another displaying the cost of the pending toll, occupy almost as much space in the driver's view as the traffic, itself, heading northbound on I-265 toward Exit 37, near Prospect, Kentucky. Exit 37, just outside of Louisville, will take drivers to a hilltop to meet US 42, while the interstate spur takes drivers through a tunnel under the same hill, and to the Lewis and Clark Bridge, connecting Kentucky and Indiana over the Ohio River.
