Combining Our Love Of Travel With Award-Winning Journalism
West Palm Beach mail receiving office for Turnpikes.com
Turnpikes.com was created for a single purpose: To provide a clearinghouse for all information related to North America's toll roads. When we first went online in 2009, as TurnpikeInfo.com, there was no single resource for travelers who needed to know about the toll roads they would encounter on their trip.
Much has changed on America's toll roads since 2009, including the adoption of cashless tolling, even using license plate tolling. We at Turnpikes.com have been witness to all of these changes, and those that continue.
All-electronic TollingTravel Conditions
Today, we are proud to have served millions of travelers across this great land of ours, as we continue providing complete navigation and toll road information for thousands of travelers every day, whether those travels are interstate, international or simply across town.
Complete Travel Resources For Your Trip
Traveling toll roads means the need to know where the tolls are, in the first place, how to pay for those tolls, and how to get a transponder, if you want one.
A road trip means the need for gas, food, and sometimes a hotel. Destination travel means checking out local attractions. Commuting means knowing the traffic on the way to work.
Turnpikes.com is the only online resource that combines all of these features into a single web app. Navigate. Calculate. Get traffic and weather. Book a hotel. Find fast food or a local diner. Get tickets to the theater.
We have partnered with Priceline for hotels. Our partnerships with AccuWeather and TrafficLand mean accurate conditions and current traffic. We have also connected with Tiqets.com to bring you exclusive deals on special attractions, theme parks and more. And our partnership with TomTom means you have the most up-to-date maps available.
We are not just toll roads; we are a complete travel resource!

We know these toll roads because we travel them. No computer or desk jockey can provide the real-world, field information provided by Turnpikes.com, because we travel these roads with you. In fact, nearly all of our on-highway pictures have been taken during real road surveys of America's toll roads, including the shot here, which is just south of the Lewis and Clark toll bridge near Louisville, Kentucky.
Plus, Turnpikes.com is where you keep up-to-date with changes that affect your travels. We provide a weekly news update, and our handy travel guides and construction updates keep you informed about new impacts to your trip.
Toll Road NewsTravel Conditions
Like any good news source, we provide a weather forecast. Our weather conditions and cameras let you know what is happening on the road now. Forecasts let you plan for a day or week.
With all of this, we keep it current for you!
An Award-Winning Media Veteran
Danny Pryor is an AP-award-winning journalist and one-time local news director with a history in media dating to 1988 in Las Vegas.
Danny's broadcast career has had his voice heard on CBS News, the BBC, Mutual Broadcasting, Westwood One and Metro Networks, where Danny eventually became Assistant Operations Director in 1997.
In 2000, he set out on his own to build a digital media company, which became Rodan Media, our current parent company. In 2007, Rodan Media partnered with Crogan Studios, and in late 2008, TurnpikeInfo.com was acquired.
Sadly, the lead partner in Crogan Studios passed away in December 2010, at which time Rodan Media took control of TurnpikeInfo.com and Crogan's exhibition services, which helped run the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Domain conferences for ten years.
In 2023, the decision was made to migrate the website to a new home. A new format was adopted, as well as a better navigation structure, and in 2024, TurnpikeInfo.com was moved to Turnpikes.com, where it serves thousands of visitors each day.
